14 Details You Might Have Missed From The 'Avengers: Infinity War' Trailer
BUCKY HAS A NEW ARM.
It's been a long wait, but Marvel has finally deemed us worthy of the first trailer for the epic Avengers vs. Thanos showdown a.k.a. 'Avengers: Infinity War'
With over nine years worth of superhero movies leading up to this, there might be some details that you might have missed from the trailer:
1. The Hulk a.k.a. Dr. Bruce Banner finally made it to Earth after his adventures in 'Thor: Ragnarok'... crashing through Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorium, no less
2. Tony Stark is using the flip phone Steve Rogers sent to him at the end of 'Captain America: Civil War'
Also, can we all stop to appreciate the fact that there are two Sherlocks in this scene? :D
3. There were a lot of scenes in T'challa a.k.a. Black Panther's kingdom. Some theorised that the only Infinity Stone that has yet to make an appearance - the Soul Stone - is in Wakanda.
4. Captain America is back, but still sans his iconic shield. On the plus side, he's gained himself a beard and some pretty cool Wakandan armour on his forearms!
5. Meanwhile, Cap's BFF Bucky Barnes a.k.a. The Winter Soldier is out of cryosleep. WITH A NEW ARM.
6. This is the first time Tom Holland's Spider-Man exhibits the "spidey-sense" in the MCU
7. Looks like he'll also be donning the upgraded Stark-issued suit he declined at the end of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'!
8. We don't know about you, but Thanos looks a little... underwhelming without his gear
9. Comic fans may recognise this character as Proxima Midnight, a child of Thanos and a member of his Black Order
10. As expected, Loki did take the Tesseract before Asgard got blown up in 'Thor: Ragnarok'. We're guessing he surrendered the Tesseract to Thanos, because...
[MILD SPOILERS AHEAD]
Things aren't looking too good for Loki, as he was also seen walking through piles of debris and dead Asgardians in the trailer.
11. ... The hulking purple big bad seems to have gotten his hands on the blue Space Stone (Tesseract) and the purple Power Stone (orb in 'Guardians of the Galaxy') later in the trailer
12. Ex-JARVIS a.k.a. Vision will be taking on a human form at some point
13. Probably before getting the yellow Mind Stone (formerly in Loki's sceptre) ripped out of his forehead
The guy doing the "ripping" is presumably Corvus Glaive, yet another child of Thanos.
14. And finally, it's an outer space crossover as Thor finally meets the Guardians of the Galaxy on the Milano
We don't know about you, but we're SO HYPED for this right now. 'Avengers: Infinity War' is set to hit cinemas nationwide on 26 April 2018.
