4 Malaysian Music Events You Can Go To For Under RM60 This Month

1. Geisha's Playground featuring DJ CZA, Zaxk and Nahsyk (7 March)
In conjunction with International Women's Day, Kyo KL is hosting a night of R&B and hip hop in its week-long celebration. The night will feature DJ CZA, Zaxk and Nahsyk, who are all remarkable DJs in the local scene.

Date and Time: Wednesday, 7 March 2018 @ 11.00pm
Venue: Kyo KL, Mandarin Oriental, 50088 Kuala Lumpur.
Ticketing Details: As the event celebrates Women's Day, ladies will enjoy complimentary entry and cocktails throughout the night. Men will be charged RM40 per entry (including one drink) before 1am, and RM60 after. For more information, you can refer to the event page here.
2. BATE 'One I Love' Launch Party (9 March)
Local DJ duo BATE, made up of Ethan Curzon and Yeoh Wai Hong, have played at numerous music festivals such as Thirst and Future Music Festival Asia. They have also performed alongside some of the biggest names in the industry such as Tiësto, Zedd, and Calvin Harris.
BATE will be releasing their very first single 'One I Love' this Friday, so go ahead and show some love to them!

3. Major Drop x Urban Kings Back to School Party featuring Airliftz and Dan $hiv (15 March)
This night will feature some of Malaysia's best in hip hop. 20-year-old rapper and producer Airliftz, along with rapper and DJ Dan $hiv are sure to blow your minds with what they have to offer. DJs Ziqq and Sri-Lankan born KooLeR will be performing as well, so get ready for a night of good ol' Malaysian hip hop.

Venue: Ren @ Kyo KL, Mandarin Oriental, 50088 Kuala Lumpur.
Ticketing Details: RM40 will be charged per entry before 1am, and RM60 after.
4. Generation Clash featuring Gerhana Skacinta, Flop Poppy, UNDERPRESSURE, and 199X (31 March)
The event's name is self-explanatory. Generation Clash will see two 'older' bands, Gerhana Skacinta and Flop Poppy, as well as two 'younger' ones, UNDERPRESSURE and 199X. The variety in genres across these four bands will definitely give you a night to remember.
