FIVE Post-Credits Scenes And More Things To Look Out For In 'Guardians Of The Galaxy 2'
Spot all the cameos! :D
At long last, 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' has come upon us! By that, we mean you can finally watch Marvel's latest intergalactic adventure in cinemas nationwide. :p
For those of you who are catching the movie over the weekend, keep this in mind so you don't miss out on the extra fun:
1. Will there be any post-credits scenes? Yes. In fact, there will be FIVE post-credits scenes, so make sure you stick around 'til the end!
Having caught an advanced screening of the movie earlier this week, we can confirm that all five post-credits scenes are definitely worth staying behind for. :D
2. Some familiar (and kinda unexpected) faces will be making cameos in the movie, like our very own Datuk Michelle Yeoh...
As for what character she's appearing as, you'll have to watch it to find out... :p
... a certain '90s star with a flying car...
We'd be revealing a spoiler if we tell you who it is, but here's a hint - he's also featured in the 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' soundtrack!
... and of course, the man who started it all and has appeared in every Marvel movie ever made, Stan Lee!
3. This may be a little more difficult to pick out, but pop star Miley Cyrus apparently lent her distinctive voice to a minor character
Hint: The character appears in one of the post-credits scenes.
4. There's a pretty incredible reference for diehard comic fans to spot too - a glimpse into what might've been if Marvel had used the original Guardians of the Galaxy for the movies
The current squad with Peter Quill (Star Lord), Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Racoon, and Groot is actually based on the 2008 team. The original Guardians of the Galaxy were actually conceived in 1969, featuring an entirely different line-up of intergalactic heroes - Major Victory (or Major Vance Astro), Captain Charlie-27, Martinex T'Naga, Yondu Udonta, and later, Starhawk, Aleta, and Nikki.
Good luck spotting them all! 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' is currently playing in cinemas across Malaysia.
