And almost never get first pick over anything

We never seem to be able to outshine our siblings no matter how many medals and achievements we bring home

And so we take to creating a #middlechild hashtag as consolation

But wait!

The middle child is resilient and a strong survivor!

Did you know, Anne Hathaway, Britney Spears, Chris Hemsworth and Demi Lovato are middle children too?

Because we're constantly neglected, we also get away with most things

Having had to deal with older and younger siblings, we're resourceful, flexible and make good negotiators

So yes, what middle child syndrome? Pfft!
