New Research Shows That Coconut Oil Is Actually Horrible For Your Health

A new study by the American Heart Association (AHA) finds coconut oil as guilty as butter in terms of health detriments

You can almost imagine the news in the form of a mocking sneer, "AHA, you've been fooled all along!" The study highlighted by IFLS describes coconut oil to be just as bad as butter.

The Circulation journal have let out a notice pinpointing the worrying trait in saturated fats relating to cardiovascular disease

The journal mentions that Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is responsible for 17.3 million deaths a year and is the leading cause of death globally. The cause? Saturated fat.

82% of coconut oil consists of saturated fats, higher than butter (63%), olive oil (14%), peanut oil (17%), and sunflower oil (10%).
