Perodua has denied having any part in a viral post stating that the local car manufacturer is giving out 15 limited edition Perodua Myvi cars to random people

The Facebook post was posted by a page named "Perodua Malaysia Company". In the post that has garnered over 100,000 shares and over 100,000 likes, the account noted that it will be giving out 15 new Perodua Myvi cars in blue to lucky winners who've liked, shared, and commented on the post.

Perodua managing director Datuk Zahari Husin has also denied any links between Perodua and the account

We wish to advise the public to only refer to our official channels for ongoing campaigns and promotions,” he said as quoted by the New Straits Times.

The account has since been taken down and the post has also been deleted

Zahari stated official channels include their Facebook “MYPerodua” page and their official website.
