Kuala Lumpur is in pursuit to be a green city. This is how DBKL (Kuala Lumpur City Hall) wants to achieve it:

City mayor Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Talib today called on residents to re-invest in KL and create places and spaces that will inspire communities to be creative.

Meanwhile, to encourage use of public transportation, City Hall intends to reduce the number of parking lots for cars.
