On 3 March, Rosmah lamented that times are tough as even her hairdresser now costs RM1,200
"Now if I want to dye my hair at home, the hairdresser charges me RM1,200. Wow, that is expensive but they say the price is different in the store. It’s pricey because it is home service..."

Tengku Puan Pahang shared the photo of rice, chicken and anchovies on 11 March 2015 with the caption "There goes my diet... I can only afford packed rice as my hairdresser is expensive!"
Social media immediately went wild. The photo went viral with Malaysians taking the remark as a sarcastic jab at Rosmah.
On Twitter, Malaysians celebrated Tengku Puan Pahang's wit, sarcasm, and class in mocking wasteful behaviour.

Many immediately flocked to her Instagram account to look at the comment for themselves, but the photo caption had been edited

The caption was edited to only read "There goes my diet...." an hour after it was posted.
24 hours after the photo had been posted, Tengku Puan Pahang's Instagram account had been deleted too
On Twitter, Tengku Puan Pahang explained that she had deleted her account as Rosmah is her good friend
Although born in royalty, Tengku Puan Pahang is revered as a simple and kind-hearted woman
In this 2013 photo, the crown princess of Pahang eats a simple, fuss-free meal alone on a bench with no security guards in sight.
Every year during the monsoon floods, she would personally cook and serve food to the flood victims at relief centres
It has been a routine for Tengku Puan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Sultan Iskandar to prepare lunch for flood victims sheltered at relief centres.
When met by reporters, she said she had always been involved in cooking for flood victims each time the floods occurred in Pahang.
"Today is very special for the flood victims here as they get to savour my culinary delight.
"This is the only way my family and I can contribute to the victims. Last year I was able to cook at several centres, but this year only a limited number of places due to health reasons," she said. When cooking was completed Tunku Azizah and her children personally dished out the food to the eagerly waiting crowd.
