IKEA is urging customer to immediately remove the Gunggung swing from children as it could pose serious risk of injury.

IKEA Malaysia has recalled its indoor and outdoor children's Gunggung swing product
IKEA Malaysia has recalled the indoor and outdoor children’s GUNGGUNG swing on Tuesday, citing safety reasons.
This is following reports of the suspension fittings on the Gunggung swing not meeting the quality requirements, posing a risk of serious injury
Ikea has received reports of incidents showing that the suspension fittings on the Gunggung swing do not live up to Ikea quality requirements posing a risk of serious injury.
The GUNGGUNG swing has been sold in Malaysia since April 1 this year.
Incidents have occured when the fittings in the suspension have broken
"However in the case of the Gunggung swing, incidents have occurred where the fittings in the suspension have broken.
thestar.com.my"To prevent any further incidents as such, Ikea has chosen to recall the product and the swing can be returned to the Ikea store for a full refund," she added. "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however safety is always a top priority for Ikea," the statement said.

If you have purchased a Gunggung swing, immediately keep it away from children and return it to the IKEA store for a full refund
Ikea today urged customers who have a Gunggung children's swing to immediately remove the swing from children and bring it back to the Ikea store where they will receive a full refund.
Customers can head to the Exchange & Returns Counter at the IKEA store to return the swing for a full refund where proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.
