Six people, including a minor, were burnt to death after the luxury car they were travelling in collided with a highway pillar and burst into flames near the Kampung Pandan roundabout in Kuala Lumpur this morning.

The victims, believed to be from the same family, were travelling from the SMART Highway towards Jalan Perkasa around 12.40am when a witness said their blue Nissan Skyline went out of control and slammed into the concrete pillar.

"I ran over there and tried to pull out the people inside but the flames were so big, I couldn't get near it. I could only watch," said Kamarul Haniff.
