How relevant are social causes and non-profit organizations to this generation of Malaysians?
We have friends to chat with. Pictures to share. YouTube videos to watch. And brands with large advertising budgets competing for our attention. Can social causes and non-profit work stand out, and engage this generation?
On the other hand, we have seen how people have rallied together, using social media as weapons of mass communication.
This is why we decided something had to be done.
Everytime an NGO or social cause has a new campaign to share, the SAYS team will help plan it out, and then invite the entire SAYS Malaysia community to share messages and links across Facebook and Twitter on behalf of these NGOs and social causes, instantly giving them a voice, and a channel to engage our generation.
The team at SAYS Malaysia and its community of 384,174 Malaysian social media users have been doing this for over 70 leading brands and products for the past 2 years, and is excited to extend the same firepower to NGOs and social causes as well.
We are also looking for more NGOs and social causes to reach out to us. Together we’ll help them spread the word!
