Long Queues Outside Shah Alam Stadium As Fans Line Up To Get Tickets For Football Final

The SEA Games men's football final match between Malaysia and Thailand will be held at Shah Alam Stadium on Tuesday, 29 August

Malaysia beat Indonesia 1-0 in the semi-finals on Saturday, 26 August, after an 87th-minute goal from N. Thanabalan, that sealed the home side’s passage to the finals against Thailand.

Unlike previous matches where tickets were sold online, Malaysian supporters can only purchase tickets to the final match at the Shah Alam Stadium from 11am today

Kuala Lumpur 2017 made the announcement yesterday that Malaysian supporters will be able to purchase the tickets to the final from 11am until they are sold out. Tickets will not be sold online.

A total of 20 ticket counters will be opened at Gate A and Gate B of Shah Alam Stadium. Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin confirmed on Twitter that the tickets will be priced at RM21.20 including GST.

Long queues could be seen surrounding Shah Alam Stadium as throngs of Malaysian supporters lined up for a chance to catch the national team in action tomorrow
