TM Partners With Netflix To Provide Its Customers With Unlimited Content

The telecommunications company confirmed the partnership in a press release today.

Good news, TM customers!

The company announced today that it has partnered with the popular Internet streaming website, Netflix.

The telecommunications giant said in a press release today that it will be offering its customers easy access to Netflix come October 2017.

Details are scarce at the moment but TM said its customers who "subscribe to the service will become Netflix members" and will be able to "enjoy unlimited viewing of content"

"Our latest collaboration with Netflix is a testament to our commitment towards becoming Malaysia’s content aggregator champion where Malaysians will have easier access to Netflix’s award-winning content at their convenience," said TM executive VP of new media, Jeremy Kung.

"Netflix has something for everyone, from globally popular Netflix original series to anime, kids content to Bollywood drama.

Through this collaboration with TM, we can now reach out to even more Malaysians who want to watch their favourite shows on Netflix anytime, anywhere, on a big screen, on their mobile device or on any internet-connected device of their choice," said Zameczkowski.

TM's teaming up with Netflix will be in addition to their existing partnership with iflix and BBC

TM UniFi and selected Streamyx subscribers were granted free unlimited access to tens of thousands of hours of entertainment including movies and TV series on the website.

Besides that, TM customers who subscribe to HyppTV’s Jumbo Pack get access to BBC’s own video streaming service, BBC Player.
