Driving simulator RaceRoom has introduced a couple of interesting updates

RaceRoom is a free computer game that lets you experience realistic car racing and driving. You can drive virtual versions of real race cars on famous tracks, competing against AI opponents or other people online.

While the basic game is free, you can buy extra cars and tracks to expand your collection. It's known for its accurate simulation of real racing series, making it a popular choice for serious racing fans.

One of the latest content updates features a familiar road in Pahang

RaceRoom has recreated the winding roads of Genting Highlands, a favourite spot for Malaysian car enthusiasts, in the virtual world. This new track is designed for competitive racing, with a focus on time trials and elimination-style events. Imagine online races with up to 10 players, where the fastest five advance to a thrilling downhill run while the others are knocked out.

The virtual track closely mirrors the real road, featuring two lanes separated by barriers, and even includes sections where you can switch lanes or take alternative routes. You can experience the full 12.6km climb, which includes a dramatic 1,000m elevation gain.

Or, if you prefer, you can choose shorter versions of the track, like a single-lane uphill climb, a run on just the top half, or a complete up-and-down run with a loop at the summit.

Aside from that, RaceRoom has also introduced new drift content

RaceRoom has just added a new drift playground to its free racetrack, letting players practise their sideways skills in a gymkhana-style area filled with cones and obstacles.

To make things even more exciting, they've also introduced two officially licensed drift cars: the classic BMW M3 E30 and the modern BMW M4 G82, both tuned by the Red Bull Driftbrothers.

These cars aren't your average road vehicles; they've been heavily modified and set up specifically for drifting, with input from the actual drift drivers, ensuring a realistic and thrilling experience.
