Malays? Lazy.
Chinese? Greedy cheaters.
Indians? Drunkards.

We have to admit, we're all guilty of stereotyping each other, at one point or another.

Of course, biases and prejudices we hold against other races are extremely unhealthy but the Malay community seems to have a great idea to address these stereotypes associated with them.

What better way to poke fun at their own race, if not with humour?

The Malay community has taken to Twitter to address these stereotypes in the most hilarious way possible using the hashtag #NotAllMalays

The hashtag was trending in both Malaysia and Singapore recently as Malays tried to alleviate racial stereotypes associated with them.

Since most of these tweets come from Malays themselves, it takes away the elements of racism. Also, people usually say that, "it's not racist when you make a joke about your own race".
