The Malaysian horror film has officially crossed the RM10 million mark in box office collections, according to its production team.
The milestone comes just days after the film reportedly earned RM5.5 million within its first four days of release, signalling strong momentum among cinemagoers.
Since premiering in cinemas, Polong has generated buzz online, with viewers sharing their reactions to the film's unsettling atmosphere and mystery-driven storyline on social media.
Directed by Zulkarnain Azhar, the film centres on themes of black magic, generational curses, and the consequences of past sins
It combines traditional Malaysian horror elements with psychological storytelling, offering a fresh take on the genre.
The film stars Mimi Lana, Jun Lojong, Fad Anuar, Namron, Nadiya Nisaa, and Amir Nafis, among others.
Produced by Golden Star Pictures, Polong is distributed with support from 10 Star Cinemas and marketed through collaborations with Primeworks Studios and Astro Shaw.
