Fei Fan is one of the few spots in KL doing proper Hong Kong-style hot pot buffet, with a strong focus on broth and handmade items. Their pork bone soup is slow-cooked and milky, while the mala broth leans aromatic over numbing.

2. Wagyu More
Wagyu More is known for its high-quality thinly sliced meats. While the menu may seem a little daunting, opting for standard and deluxe options will get you basic pork and beef slices, respectively. They also offer a variety of soup options (the suan cai soup add-on is worth it).
There's also a well-stocked self-serve bar with vegetables, cooked food, drinks, and desserts, making it feel more complete than your usual hot pot-only place. Great for those who want a slightly more polished, comfortable setting.

3. Seoul Garden (Halal)
A long-running favourite, Seoul Garden stands out for its two-in-one grill + hot pot setup, so you can switch between soup and BBQ without changing restaurants.
Expect Korean-style marinated meats, ready-to-eat dishes, and familiar sides. It's less about premium cuts and more about variety and nostalgia.

4. Supamala Hotpot (Halal)
Supamala is known for being Malaysia's first halal-certified Sichuan hot pot buffet, which already makes it quite unique in the scene.
Their broths are bold and spice-forward, especially the mala, and the buffet leans heavily into meat platters and hearty ingredients rather than just filler items.

6. HAHA Buffet Steamboat & BBQ
HAHA Buffet is the definition of a no-frills, value-for-money neighbourhood spot. They're also open till late, making it a great hangout spot.
You'll find a mix of marinated meats, seafood, fried items, and classic steamboat ingredients, all laid out buffet-style. One of the key draws is their live tiger prawns and fresh oysters that you can enjoy unlimited.
While slightly above the RM50 mark, this buffet is still quite worth for seniors (above 70 years old).
