1. Pitch Perfect makes fun of Glee. See, you're already on the same page!

2. Come to think of it, Pitch Perfect makes fun of Glee A LOT

3. They don't always break into songs on Pitch Perfect, but when they do, it's jaw-droppingly awesome. Case in point, the Barden Bellas' stunning mash-up performance in the Nationals:

4. Who needs jocks when you have a capella nerds as the new "cool kids"? For example, meet Bumper Allen, leader of the reigning national a capella champions, The Treblemakers.

Talented and famous to boot, this guy may be one the most arrogant and egoistical characters you will ever see on-screen. But you love him anyway, 'cos he's so hilariously hate-able.

5. And then there's Fat Amy. Funny, witty and oddly relatable, Fat Amy makes us feel like the bizarre things we do in real life are not so weird after all!

6. Sure, Glee has some pretty interesting characters but you gotta give props to Pitch Perfect for its quirky characters, like Lilly Onakuramara here. She's not weird because she speaks really softly, but the random things that come out of her mouth... now those are weird

7. Glee makes its characters square off in sing-offs too, but nothing beats this underbelly-style "riff off" on Pitch Perfect. How do two rival groups blend so harmoniously together?!

8. Glee fans can only hope the rival confrontations on the TV show are as fabulously sassy and mean as the ones on Pitch Perfect

9. Let's not forget the two commentators (yes, they have commentators for a capella competitions) with their hilarious play-by-play comments and the occasional inappropriate jokes

10. We're not sure about your sense of humour, but we're really digging the sometimes cringeworthy but kinda clever a capella puns

If you loved Pitch Perfect as much as we did, then you'll be glad to know that the official trailer for the sequel has finally been dropped! Watch the trailer HERE:
