HoYa's real name is Lee Ho-Won (이호원). He was born in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province in South Korea, on 28 March 1991.
Hoya made his acting debut as Kang Joon Hee in the 2012 drama "Answer Me 1997." His character harbours a secret crush on the most unexpected character.
