When an Interpol-issued Red Notice — the highest level warrant to hunt and capture the world's most wanted — goes out, the FBI's top profiler John Hartley (Dwayne Johnson) is on the case. His global pursuit finds him smack dab in the middle of a daring heist where he's forced to partner with the world's greatest art thief Nolan Booth (Ryan Reynolds) in order to catch the world's most wanted art thief, "The Bishop" (Gal Gadot).

The high-flying adventure that ensues takes the trio around the world, across the dance floor, trapped in a secluded prison, into the jungle and, worst of all for them, constantly into each other's company.

In a recent virtual press conference, the main trio talked about the movie, their experience, and shared with us some of their favourite moments on set

Reynolds revealed that he's been friends with Johnson for more than two decades and about 10 years with Gadot. When asked about what made him say 'yes' to the project, Reynolds said, "I was most interested in working with my friends, my pals. I got to just kind of jump in the sandbox with some friends I've known for a long time and have fun. And it's not every day that you get to do that."

For Gadot, she loved that the character she's playing is "a bit different" than what she's used to playing. She added that she was "blown away by the ambitiousness and how surprising the story is". She admitted towards the end that, "Red Notice really opened up the appetite to play a villain. That's the truth."

Gadot is set to play the evil queen in Disney's live-action adaptation of Snow White with production set to start in 2022.

No stranger to action scenes and the training that comes with it, Gadot revealed that training for her dance scene with Johnson made her the most nervous as it was very new to her

She said, "We rehearse for the dance, and it was such a delightful scene to be able to to work on with such an amazing partner like DJ (Dwayne Johnson). I was a bit nervous at the beginning for my poor feet."

Johnson added jokingly, "She thought she was dancing with a velociraptor."

However, it turns out that Johnson "is a ballerina with the lightest feet and it was amazing", Gadot said surprisingly.

All we can say is, that brief dance scene showcased some undeniable chemistry and sexual tension between the two of them.

With the film set in several locations and with quite a number of action sequences, we had to ask the three of them what was the most interesting scene they shot

Both Gadot and Reynolds said that the most interesting scene to film for them was the scene where they were all together for the first time — in the Russian prison.

According to Gadot, it was such a funny day and the three of them broke so many takes. For Reynolds, he said that the whole scene was like a chess game where they were sizing each other up.

Johnson, however, gave a different answer. He said, "There's a scene at the end where after this long, crazy adventure around the world, we finally see Gal's character and my character in the middle of the ocean on this beautiful yacht. And the scene starts off with Gal coming out of the ocean. It is a gorgeous, iconic and cinematic history shot because the boat—" laughs

Gadot then played along and said, "The boat–unbelievable–so darn sexy. Watch the movie for the boat!"

Clocking in at just under two hours, the Netflix heist movie is set to stream this Friday, 12 November. Watch the trailer:

On the topic of heists, it seems that Red Notice has arrived in Malaysia. Lately, iconic items from around the country have been stolen — just like in the film.

Cleopatra eggs have been stolen from billboards in Kuala Lumpur. One along the LDP highway in Bandar Sunway and the other along the KL-Seremban Highway near the Sungai Besi Toll.

A few letters of the iconic 'Beyond' sculpture outside the Astro building in Bukit Jalil appears to be stolen as well.

Fret not! A little birdie told us that these stolen items will be revealed at Pavilion KL on 12 November. Honestly, we can't wait to find out who's the mastermind behind it all. jeng, jeng, jeng
