Hoi An ancient town
Hoi An ancient town is a well-known destination not only in Vietnam but also in the world and knew as a World Heritage Site by Enesco on December 4th 1999 and until to now it is celebrated anniversary much time. It is situated in Quang Nam province and lies on the banks of Thu Bon River, far from Hanoi about 630 km (follow flight distance) and Da Nang about 30 km. Due to the advantage location on the banks of the great river together with one seaside border (East), it used to be one of the important trading centers in Southeast Asia region during the 16th century due to the early western trader occupying period Different from Hanoi Old Quarter, Hoi An ancient town is private beauty- a distinct Chinese atmosphere with low, tile-roofed houses and narrow streets; the root structure of some of these streets still remains almost ancient beauty which did not change a lot of by human. In addition to the houses here were made of rare wood, decorated with lacquered boards and panels engraved with Chinese characters. Pillars were also carved with ornamental designs. What is more Hoi An ‘s night is not exciting and chaos as Hanoi’s night, everything seems quite after 22 p.m and become an ideal place to enjoy a few drinks, snacks or a game of pool and darts. Together with the exciting development of tourism here has more and more modern boutique to service the tourist need however tradition shop is still determining stand in tourist heart such as: tailors, art galleries, souvenir shop etc There are a lot of attractive destinations in Hoi An for instance: My Son Sanctuary, Hoi An old town, Hoi An Riverside, old house of Tan Ki, Kim Bong Carpentry Village, Japanese Bridge ( mean in Vietnamese Chùa Cầu), Chinese Assembly Halls and so on. In fact all places are interesting and must see thus you should search detail where you will visit or ask tourism agencies to consult.
