Mick Jagger's Long-Time Girlfriend L'Wren Scott Found Dead From Suicide

L'Wren Scott was reportedly set to announce the closing of her eponymous clothing line on Wednesday, March 19, but she took her own life before she had the chance.

According to Daily Mail, Scott was said to be distraught and ‘embarrassed’ over her failing business, as she owed nearly $6million to creditors.

A spokesman for Mick Jagger said the singer, who is in Australia as part of the Rolling Stones tour, was 'completely shocked and devastated' following the news of her death.

According to police, the body was found by her assistant this morning around 10:00 AM. Officials say she was hanging from a doorknob.

“Nicole and L’Wren were close friends for 25 years,” Kidman’s rep said. “Nicole is heartbroken and in shock right now and unable to say anything.”

Scott’s friend, celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch, remembered her as “impeccable, chic and so tall." He said, "L'Wren is probably the only person I look at her Instagram and say she has such a glamorous life. She was always on a plane. She was always very controlling, strong.”
