Malaysian Fans Apologise to Lamb Of God Over Death Threats
American band Lamb Of God's concert in Kuala Lumpur might not happen as they are facing resistance from various Malaysian authorities.

Malaysian fans apologise to Lamb Of God for death threats
"Many apologies on behalf of Malaysia. Those false accusations were very, very uncalled for. Sorry, man."
Fans expressed sadness over the threats, which surfaced after news broke that Jakim wanted Lamb Of God banned from Malaysia.
Human rights lawyer Michelle Yesudas said with the news being widely reported by international music websites, Jakim has created an image of Malaysia as "an intolerant, illogical, and inconsiderate" nation.
Lamb Of God, "We would invite anyone offended by our music to engage in a discussion...especially before publicly slandering us based on assumptions and shallow misinterpretation."
"We elected to cancel our show in KL. It's very evident (& a bit frustrating) that the groups, parties & powers that have taken the most offense to our music & lyrics, have themselves only made a passing glance at the content & meanings of those songs.
"We would invite anyone offended by our music to engage in a discussion regarding the true motivations behind our work, especially before publicly slandering us based on assumptions and shallow misinterpretation."
Livescape says, "Moving forward, we politely ask that JAKIM and various NGOs engage in a dialogue with us promoters to seek our explanation prior to passing judgement or releasing statements to the media."
"When a show of this scale – which was due to happen in a couple of weeks – is cancelled, the economic fallout doesn’t just affect us, the promoters."
