Directed by Kenny Ortega ('High School Musical', Michael Jackson's 'This Is It'), Disney's new TV movie premiered in the US on 31 July to positive reviews and 6.6 million viewers.
The movie follows four teenage children of iconic Disney villains Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella de Vil as they plot to steal the Fairy Godmother's wand and free their non-repentant parents from captivity on the Isle of the Lost. A pretty easy mission, considering the trouble-making quartet have been offered a chance of redemption to attend a squeaky-clean prep school in the idyllic kingdom of Auradon.
Disney's 'Descendants' premieres on Disney Channel (ASTRO Channel 615) on Sunday, 13 September at 11.00am.
