The 1975, Two Door Cinema Club And More Will Rock Your Socks Off At #GoodVibesFest 2016
The outdoor music festival makes a comeback after a one-year absence.
Mark your calendars, everyone. Good Vibes Festival is finally making a comeback after a one-year absence this August!
Started in 2013, the outdoor music festival has brought some of the world's most established acts to Malaysian shores such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Ellie Goulding, Modest Mouse, and Empire of the Sun.
This year, #GoodVibesFest will be held on 12 and 13 August 2016 at its new, cooler home - The Ranch @ Gohtong Jaya in Genting Highlands
To make up for its absence last year, the 2016 edition will feature twice as many acts compared to its previous years. Headlining the two-day fest - current fan favourite The 1975, The Temper Trap, and Two Door Cinema Club.
Joining them on the headliners' list are Canadian electro-pop duo Purity Ring, Australian beatmaker Ta-Ku, and Canadian DJ Ryan Hemsworth (no relation to the Australian Hemsworth brothers, by the way)
The local front is also a force to be reckoned, with homegrown acts such as Enterprise, Froya, Jumero, Juno and Hanna, The Fridays, Toko Kilat, and Seven Collar T-Shirt taking the stage
More on the #GoodVibesFest line-up will be revealed in the next few weeks, so do keep a look out!
Phase 1 tickets - priced at RM250 (one-day) and RM300 (two-day) - will go on sale on Tuesday, 3 May 2016 from 3pm onwards via BoxTix Asia. In addition, hotel and tickets packages will also be made available. Ticket prices will increase in stages closer to the festival.
Take note that Good Vibes Festival is only open for those who are 18 years old and above. You can follow the Facebook page for the latest updates.
