The new trailer for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ showcases lots — and we really mean lots — of Spidey action, with the web slinger going up against not just Jamie Foxx’s villain Electro but also Chris Cooper’s Green Goblin.

In the trailer, at least four notable Rochester scenes made the cut, including a high-speed chase and a crash involving dozens of police cars brought in for filming. "News of 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' filming in Rochester spread quickly in the film industry," said Nora Brown, executive director of the VisitRochester film office. "That has already helped to increase the number of calls that we receive from producers interested in filming their projects here."

The first real footage from the sequel unveils plenty of shady characters: an armored Rhino, Jamie Foxx’s blue Electro, Dane DeHaan’s not-even-pretending-to-be-nice Harry Osborn, the raspy-voiced Oscorp shadow from the first film’s post-credit teaser, and someone suited up in a Goblin-like hi-tech military suit.

The trailer reveals that Osborn's company OsCorp has Peter Parker under surveillance — with the ominous implication that they know his web-slinging secret. Not to mention the other ominous implication that Parker's girlfriend Gwen (Emma Stone) may be in mortal danger... again.

And the love was simply magnetic between Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield as they filmed an affectionate spot for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in New York City in May 2013.

In the comic book-inspired film, Andrew plays the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, a nerd-turned superhero, as Emma plays a love interest by the name of Gwen Stacy.

The couple started their romance while filming the first The Amazing Spider-Man movie in 2011. According to Andrew, from the minute he met Emma Stone during Amazing Spider-Man auditions, he knew they had something special.
