However, the spotlight was promptly stolen by a tender moment between His Majesty and the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah
During the livestream of the ceremony, His Majesty was seen reaching out to his wife as they made their way into Istana Negara's Balairung Seri for the ceremony.
The royal couple even swung their hands back and forth like a young couple in love.
His Majesty was also seen holding the Raja Permaisuri Agong's hand as they descended the stairs
In a touching moment before the ceremony, Her Majesty was captured on camera adjusting His Majesty's ceremonial outfit.
