He started off as an English high school teacher and has since ventured into becoming a professional video creator.

His YouTube channel, Aki from Japan, currently has over 97,200 subscribers.

In his videos and vlogs, Aki shares his different experiences in Malaysia. Some of which include him learning Bahasa Melayu within three weeks during the Movement Control Order, trying out Ramly burger, and how to make teh tarik.

Although many of his videos are entertaining, Aki posted one video, in particular, that can't help but make you want to travel around Malaysia

Garnering over 33,200 views since November, his video, titled Malaysia Cinematic - Like You've Never Seen Before, shows off the country through the lens of an outsider.
