Khairy Pokes Fun At Anti-Vaxx Group For Claiming He Uses 'Demonic Jinns' For Protection
One of the messages said Khairy's bracelets are his source of defence.
Following his stern statement to "make life difficult" for those who refuse a COVID-19 vaccine, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has received a few threats online
On Sunday, 17 October, Khairy uploaded two screenshots on Instagram Stories from alleged anti-vaccine Telegram groups condemning him.
In one of the screenshots, someone shared a qunut nazilah recitation – calling Khairy and his 'allies' their 'evil enemies' and praying for harm to befall them.
Meanwhile, another group accused the minister of using demonic spirits to protect himself with bracelets that he is always seen wearing on his left hand.
However, in two short retorts, Khairy dismissed the bullying
With a hint of sarcasm, he said the anti-vaxxer groups were just "stepping up their game".
As for the four jinns he uses to protect himself, he played along and said, "Wrong. I am using four types of vaccine jinns to protect Malaysia: Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, and CanSino."
His responses received a lot of support and were also reposted on Twitter
"I'm laughing so hard reading about KJ trolling these anti-vaxxers back," said one reply.
A witty netizen said, "So actually, KJ isn't using vaccines but 'vakjin'."
Another Twitter user said, "HAHAHAHAHAHA. I'm so entertained by these anti-vaccine people."
