A woman decided to deep-fry her husband's pet arowana after he kept putting off cleaning its aquarium
TikTok user Mia Kurniawan from Indonesia uploaded a video of her cooking the fish along with a caption that read, "Frying arowana."
The clip went viral and garnered over 6.9 million views and 189,300 likes.
Mia explained that her husband kept promising to clean the fish tank but never took action.
She then decided to take matters into her own hands and clean the tank herself but the fish ended up sick.
"I imagined that if it was fried, it would be delicious. Okay, that's it. I'll just fry the fish," she wrote.
She then showed herself descaling the fish before seasoning it and putting it in hot oil.
Once the fish was done, she wrote, "Done cooking, ready to be eaten."
