Wally is an Angora rabbit. Angoras are a special breed of rabbits from France that are known for their long and silky coats.
The Angora rabbit (Turkish: Ankara tavşanı) is a variety of domestic rabbit bred for its long, soft wool. The Angora is one of the oldest types of domestic rabbit, originating in Ankara (historically known as Angora). They are bred largely for their long Angora wool, which may be removed by shearing, combing, or plucking.
Of course, Wally looks more well groomed than his cousins because he has to look good for his 90,000 odd followers on Instagram. Yeah, Wally is Insta famous!
