If you've always dreamed of flying but the thought of jumping out of an airplane scares you, then indoor skydiving is the perfect activity for you.

Think about how you could freely fly your body and effortlessly control your movements in a safe and controlled environment.

Previously, there was a skydiving attraction in Genting Highlands but it has closed down.

The good news is, this new facility is going to be easily accessible at the 1 Utama shopping centre

According to several Australian media reports, Indoor Skydive Australia (ISA) Group is set to develop its first indoor skydiving facility with Bandar Utama City in Malaysia. It will also be its first facility outside the southern continent.

"The indoor skydiving facility is being developed as part of the extension of the 1 Utama
Shopping Centre which includes access to the Bandar Utama MRT station, linking 1 Utama to the Greater Kuala Lumpur region," a statement from ISA read.

It is said that the project will cost about AUD1.5 to AUD2 million (RM5.1 to RM6.8 million).

No further details are available yet, but it was reported that the indoor skydiving facility is scheduled to be open by December 2017
