Despite The Drastic Transformation, Xiahn Still Feels Brazilian, "For Me A Korean Person Looks Brazilian As Much As A German Person Or Any Other Person That Has Been Born Here [South Korea]"
Despite the drastic transformation though, Xiahn still feels Brazilian, thanks to the country’s diversity: "There are many mixed Brazilian people. For me a Korean person looks Brazilian as much as a German person or any other person that has been born here. So even though I’ve changed the shape of my eyes, I am still Brazilian."

Xiahn Goes By The Pseudonym Oriental Gaucho Online And Quickly Became A Minor Celebrity After News Of His Surgery Went Viral
Xiahn's surgery has made him something of a minor celebrity in Brazil, and he has made appearances on local television programmes.

'Regardless of religion that the person is [sic], whether or not you believe in past lives, you have only this life, you have to be who you want to be,” he wrote.
Xiahn Said While His Father Supported His Choices, His Mother Was Less Understanding
The cultural chameleon has been 'liked' thousands of times on Facebook and said he has been fascinated by life in South Korea since he was 19. He found surgeons in Brazil to carry out the amazing series of surgeries and said while his father supported his choices, his mother was less understanding. "For me it is normal to change appearance," he said.
