[NANDINI SAYS] Hello Malaysians, What's Up With White Worshipping Lah?
Here are three most common situations where we take part in white worshipping – knowingly, unknowingly.
"Wah, your daughter-in-law white ah? So lucky lah your son!"
I've lost count of the amount of times I've heard people uttering disturbing statements like these.
Before I continue, I'm gonna put it out there that if you're easily offended, like the idea of living in an ignorant bubble, and dislike listening to opinions that differ from yours, here are two options for you:
1. Click on that 'X' button on the left corner, forget white worshipping is a thing.
2. Keep reading, listen to what I have to say, and tell me what you think about it in the comment section.
Take your pick! :)
Now that that's out of the way, let me get back to the topic of today's video – white worshipping.
It's not in the Oxford Dictionary (it's about time they add it in), but it basically means looking up to or glorifying people of mainly European descent with light skin, for no other reason than the fact that they're white.
