Here's How You Can Do Your Part And Help Provide For Those In Need This Ramadan
You can make a donation to Aman Palestin, which will help Palestinians, Syrians, and Yemenis.
As Muslims observe the month of Ramadan, it is a good time to remember the less fortunate and extend a helping hand to those in need
This period serves as a timely reminder of self-reflection and charitable giving. While the majority of people identify Ramadan with fasting, it also emphasises the significance of giving back to your community.
That's where Aman Palestin, an initiative to help safeguard the welfare of Palestinians, comes into play
Since its inception in late 2004, Aman Palestin has served as a conduit for humanitarian aid and a safeguard for Palestinians' human rights. It is always Aman Palestin's goal to make sure that every donation by Malaysians and the global community reaches Palestine, and is used to its full potential in Palestinian territories.
On 8 September 2009, Malaysia's Yang Di Pertuan Agong officiated the Aman Palestin project. Since then, Aman Palestin has also set up medical aid funds to help Palestinians, Syrians, and Yemenis who are undergoing strife in their homeland.
This Ramadan, Aman Palestin needs your help in aiding those in need with their "Ramadan Bersama" campaign, ending on 15 May
Aman Palestin has provided donation packages where you can give as little as RM10, or more, depending on your budget. Using the donated money, aid will be distributed to people in need, including single mums, poor families, orphans, residents in Gaza and around the Al-Aqsa Mosque area, and those afflicted in Syria and Yemen.
Besides that, food packs will be handed out so that no one goes hungry for iftar. Just a simple donation from you will help fill their bellies, as food may be a scarcity for some.
Here are the donation packages that you can opt for:
Aman Palestin's "Ramadan Bersama" campaign aims to provide everyday necessities for persecuted Palestinians, Syrians, and Yemenis as they prepare for the holy month
Since this is also a time for Muslims to stand in solidarity with the less fortunate, a little act of kindness will go a long way for them. That's why it's important for us to band together and help them out as we are able, to truly celebrate the spirit of Ramadan.
From now until 15 May, you can do your part by donating to the Aman Palestin initiative here
