The first JONETZ by Don Don Donki outlet in Malaysia has finally opened its doors to the public today, 19 March
The Japanese convenience store is located on three levels at Lot 10, Bukit Bintang, selling everything from lifestyle items to groceries.
We got a preview tour of the outlet yesterday, where it offers around 5,000 Japanese products. Here's a sneak peek of some of the items you'll find:
1. There are aisles worth of Japanese snacks and groceries, including a variety of halal-certified Wagyu beef platters and barbecued meat
2. You'll find a section of ready-to-eat meals and desserts, such as sushi platters along with Japanese cakes and treats
3. Cooking equipment and other electronics are also available at the store
We spotted pots, pans, slow cookers, vacuum cleaners, and mini table fans, among other gadgets.
4. Japanese skincare, beauty products, and other lifestyle items took up different aisles. Some of the brands include DHC and K-palette.
On the third level, there's a section with items for just RM5, such as mugs, food containers, kitchen towels, accessories, and more.
