JUICE Malaysia Launches #IkatTepi, Its New Bahasa Melayu Segment
Same JUICE, new flavour :p
JUICE Malaysia is making pop culture more inclusive and more lokal with its new Bahasa Melayu (BM) segment, #IkatTepi
#IkatTepi aims to engage a wider audience by offering JUICE's content in the national language, making its signature stories even more accessible to local readers in the digital space.
Known for its edgy features and being the go-to for all things cool in Malaysia, JUICE Malaysia's move to introduce a BM segment just makes sense.
"JUICE has always been about inclusivity, even from our days as a humble street culture magazine," said Ben Liew, Editor-in-Chief at JUICE Malaysia
"So we thought, what better way to serve our audience than to have a dedicated section in our national language? The decision was also driven by the shift towards local urban artists embracing BM as their medium of expression," he added.
With more and more local talents choosing BM to express themselves, JUICE Malaysia's #IkatTepi seems like a natural evolution.
Dont worry, it's still the JUICE you know and love — just with a fresh new flavour added!
On the website, the #IkatTepi tab will deliver the cool content JUICE Malaysia is known for, but with a focus on what BM readers are buzzing about. Think local gigs, festivals, fashion tips, and deep dives into stories that reflect the Malaysian experience.
Founded in 2002 as a free-to-read magazine, JUICE Malaysia has always been at the forefront of Malaysia's entertainment scene
Over the years, it's grown into a fully online platform, delivering the latest news, events, and all the pop culture hot takes you can handle — all wrapped up in a daily digital bungkus.
