Earlier this year, Maxis impressed Malaysians with their touching CNY 4G film, 'The 50-Year Promise' , that left many in tears
Now, they've done it again with the release of their latest 4G film for the upcoming Raya season.
This Raya, Maxis chose to explore the sensitive but sometimes painfully true reality that some of us are just putting on an act in our daily lives
The short film highlights that relationships and people are not always as perfect as they seem.
Everything starts off great at first, but the strength of a relationship really starts to be put to the test once the 'honeymoon' period wears off. Even couples who seem so crazy in love and are everyone's #relationshipgoals may not make it through.
The heartwarming 4G film also reminds us of something that is too easily forgotten: we shouldn't give up too easily on broken relationships. Check it out below.
Despite carrying a deep meaning, the film still manages to have some lighthearted moments that makes for an enjoyable watch.
It features an original track, 'Sayang', by Izzy Anuar and stars Beto Kusyairy in the lead role. You might recognize Beto from his roles in 'Ramadan Berteduh Syawal' and 'Bravo 5', for which he respectively won 'Best Actor in Drama' and 'Best Supporting Actor in Film' at the Anugerah Skrin 2016.
