Meet Omar Raiyan Azlan, an 11-year-old Malaysian boy who's living in Abu Dhabi with his family
Currently studying at the country's top school, Omar isn't your typical 11-year-old. He happens to be a math genius and Rubik's Cube extraordinaire.
Omar has won many Math Olympiads since his primary school days. He has beaten contestants from Asia, Europe and America. He's also able to solve the Rubik's Cube in 40 seconds!
Omar not only excels in the classroom, he kicks ass on the football field too! He plays for the Manchester City junior team which he joined when he was only 9 years old.
Omar was one of the 14 boys who were selected to play in Manchester City's junior squad. Organised by the management senior team of Manchester City, every batch sees thousands of boys trying out for a spot in the team.
Playing the position of midfielder in the first nine squad, Omar's talent has been flourishing considering that he has won Player of The Season once and Player of The Term thrice!
Omar is also the youngest player in the squad, with most of his teammates aged from 12 to 13 years old. What is a first nine squad? Well, junior football games consist of 9 players on each side, unlike the conventional 11 players on each side.
As if his achievements weren't enough, Omar also excels in swimming! A two-time recipient of the 'Best Swimmer of The Year' award, he has represented his school in many competitions.
By the way, Omar also has a diploma in piano and speaks four languages... Calling this boy an overachiever would be an understatement.
Omar speaks English, BM, French and Arab. Is there anything this kid can't do?!
Way to go, Omar! We'll be cheering you on in everything you do!
