[PHOTOS] Prestige Malaysia's 8 Most Successful Young Trailblazers From All Walks Of Life
Since 2005, Prestige Malaysia, through its Top 40 Under 40 awards, has been identifying and honouring young entrepreneurs from various industries. This year, in 2014, for their 10th anniversary of the awards, they decided to switch things up a little and with the help of an esteemed panel of judges who deliberated over 360 candidates' profiles from the past nine years, picked up eight of the most successful ones.
1. 29-year-old Bryan Loo, Managing Director of Loob Holding, who back in 2010 brought Chatime, an insanely popular Taiwanese tea brand, in Malaysia and quickly made it a household craving, is today aptly recognised as Malaysia's bubble tea king
Bryan Loo is responsible for introducing Chatime – a Taiwanese tea brand – to Malaysia at the tender age of 24 and has singlehandedly expanded the tea culture experience in Malaysia beyond teh tarik and the traditional English afternoon tea.
Five years since its introduction, Chatime is still going strong with no less than 130 outlets across the country. Possessing a strong will to succeed and a burning desire to chart his own course in life, Bryan is showing no sign of stopping as he embarks on an ambitious plan to expand his F&B portfolio with the introduction of some new brands.
