Tiana Kitchen, a home-based catering service in KL, has recently gone viral for their beautifully-plated collection of nasi lemak cakes. Not only that, the cakes come in a variety of toppings apart from the usual ikan bilis and peanuts!
Tiana Kitchen had recently showcased their nasi lemak creations in a photo gallery that has been shared over 21,000 times on Facebook, starting with the basic version:
The basic nasi lemak cake is made up of a base of nasi lemak layered with eggs, topped with sambal, peanuts, and ikan bilis with cucumber slices surrounding the cake.
If you prefer funkier flavours, the nasi lemak cake also comes with a sambal petai topping
If desired, the sambal petai version also comes with fresh prawns or tiger prawns!
