This Store In KL Is Like Sephora But Has All Your Asian Beauty Needs
K-beauty, J-beauty, and T-beauty all under one roof!

Hello beauty enthusiasts.
Are you tired of looking for makeup and skincare products that suit our Asian skin and weather?
Well, look no further.
'Coz there's a store in KL that has more than 250 beauty brands from around the world – including Malaysia.
Play Up is a one-stop beauty concept store that sells everything beauty-related, from makeup and skincare to fragrances and bath and body products.
Aside from local products, it brought in popular brands from South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Europe, and the US.
The store has been open in Malaysia since 2017, however, it's quite underrated considering the number of affordable brands they have.
So, it's pretty much like Sephora except it houses brands that generally have a lower price tag and cater to Asian skin
Although you can find some of their bath and body products at any Watsons or Guardian, it has items you wouldn't normally spot at Sephora.
Some of the homegrown makeup brands include Breena, Nita, Orchid, Fame, and Velvet Vanity to name a few.
And others like The Saem, Cosrx, and Mille from South Korea, or DUP from Japan.
The best part is, you can test all these products under one roof!
Other brands like LA Girl and NYX are also available at its outlets, with quite a good range of foundation colours.
We found a few options for darker skin tones - hurray for us darker tones who usually don't get options!
Play Up has multiple stores in Klang Valley. They are located in Fahrenheit88, Berjaya Times Square, and IOI City Mall.
If you're in Genting or JB, there are also outlets at SkyAvenue Genting and Parkson Paradigm Mall JB.
