The Halloween season is here, and you can already feel the spooky atmosphere everywhere you look

If you're visiting Singapore during this season, or are looking for somewhere to enjoy the creepy vibes, Universal Studios Singapore is holding its famous Halloween Horror Nights once again for the 12th year running, from now until 2 November.

This year's edition promises more thrills and chills than ever before, with haunted houses inspired by famous shows and local urban folklore all present.

There will even be a collaboration featuring designs from K-pop sensation Jackson Wang's very own design team to give the atmosphere some added bling.

Here’s everything you can expect at Halloween Horror Nights 12 this year:

1. Netflix's Sweet Home

This haunted house brings the horror from Netflix's famous Sweet Home series to life, and lets you confront grotesque monsters and experience the most chilling scenes from both seasons of the series.

In this experience, you'll have to escape in time or risk turning into one of the foul creatures chasing you.

2. Under the Castle by Team Wang Design

This unique collaboration with Jackson Wang's Team Wang design culminates in a cursed fortress that traps its visitors.

Visitors will be simultaneously spooked by the eerie aesthetics and haunted surprises while also marvelling at the iconic looks from Jackson's Magic Man album.

Plus, you'll have the unique opportunity to book a limited Under The Castle Stay & Party Package. It comes with an exclusive after party on 13 October, where you'll get to dance through the night and party with Jackson Wang. Find out more on Universal Studios Singapore's website.

3. Singapore's Most Haunted: The Killings

You'll get to enter one of Singapore's scariest haunted houses, where the spirits of murdered victims and their killers lurk in the shadows, ready to pounce at unsuspecting visitors.

Inspired by local legends, this haunted house promises a truly terrifying journey through cursed grounds.

4. Cursed Scrolls: Dynasty of Darkness

Travel back to the Qing Dynasty, where the malevolent Scroll Master has unleashed evil entities trapped within ancient scrolls.

This 3D immersive experience will pull you into the dark world of ancient curses, where entities such as the jiang shi and hu li run wild.

5. Three spine-chilling Scare Zones

Aside from the signature haunted houses, prepare yourself to get spooked at three specially made areas with distinct themes.

As you explore the Vampire Alley, The Lost Kampung, and Nether-Land, you'll come across terrifying creatures such as vampires, vengeful spirits, and undead ghouls — all waiting to give you the scare of a lifetime.

6. Night Terrors projection mapping show

A new addition this year, the Night Terrors show will light up Universal Studios Singapore with phantoms from Asian folklore.

The show is the debut of projection mapping at Universal Studios Singapore, and will feature tonnes of lights and sound effects. Expect hauntingly beautiful visuals combined with terrifying soundscapes.

7. More horrifying live shows

Dark Dreams will take you deep into the twisted world of the Dream Reaper, who preys on the nightmares of the innocent, stealing their souls. With elaborate sets and chilling special effects, this haunting performance will leave you on edge.

For those who prefer their terror with a pulse, Ocu.lar's Rave offers a surreal dance party among the undead. Hypnotic music, striking visuals, and giant puppets combine to create a feverish rave that's both eerie and electrifying.

8. Chill out and get chills at the Viper Lounge

Coming in the form of a creepy speakeasy, the Viper Lounge is run by a vampiric clan known as The Elders.

If you're lucky enough to stumble upon this exclusive spot, you can enjoy horror-themed tidbits and drinks as hair-raising events unfold around you.

This immersive experience will include an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink and two canapés. Guests on the R.I.P. Tour (see below) can enter for SGD25 (RM80.40), while regular admissions will cost SGD35 (RM112.50). Paid admission to Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights is required.
