You Can Now Buy 'Weird Barbie' Doll Inspired By The Movie
Mattel has just introduced an actual 'Weird Barbie' doll inspired by Kate McKinnon's character in the latest movie, Barbie (2023)
'Weird Barbie', which represents quirky dolls that have been disfigured by rough play, is one of the wise characters in the blockbuster film.
Donning an outfit similar to the character in the movie, the doll features short, choppy hair, with markings on her face and dress to indicate that she has been played with a little too much.
Similar to McKinnon's character, the doll is able to do a split, with legs and elbows that can bend in odd positions
'Weird Barbie' being made into an actual doll has left many wanting replicas of the other characters that were also in the movie. And NGL, we kinda want 'em too.
One person even asked for the return of Allan, a Barbie character introduced in 1964 as Ken's best friend, but was discontinued in 1966 likely due to its lack of popularity compared to Ken.
'Weird Barbie' is a limited edition doll, which costs USD50 (RM228). She is currently available for pre-order until 18 August and will be shipped out by 31 May.
