"Hey Nick, looks like we have to do a very un-glamourous stop at the gas station. Nick laughed so hard and said, "WHAT? In all my Asian travels so far, I've never stopped for gas once. So yeah, why not let's do that." When we stopped at BHP, Sunway, a man walked up to me and asked if he could bring his daughter to see Nick... he said, "Anak perempuan saya exactly like Nick... baru 6 tahun Encik.. boleh tak? Tolong Encik." (I've never been broken with a simple question before... till now... ) I turned around and asked Nick but before I could finish my sentence, Nick said "BRING EM OVER" with a beaming smile

They traveled more than 400 km away just to let their darling daughter to meet Nick. However they were denied entry to the venue where Nick was speaking because they were late and the venue was already packed with people.

Damia's parents didn't give up. The father begged to Nick's troupe member to meet him while they were pumping gas for their MPV. Nick immediately said, "Yes!" and finally met Damia.

I turned around and asked Nick but before I could finish my sentence, Nick said "BRING EM OVER" with a beaming smile... And then after a lot of tears and hugging and kissing, Nick invited them over to our hotel, and we had such a great time chatting and exchanging pains, hurts, practical ideas and so forth...

There I learned that her nickname is actually Nik, her father is a doctor, and her mother is nurse. Like my own family, they had no idea Nik would be without limbs until she was born. We had a great discussion over dinner, and I look forward to keeping in touch and encouraging them as much as possible in the future.

5. Love differences.

Her mother was crying, her father's face face shining with joy. My heart was so drawn to them, even after chatting for just a short while. After a few hugs and kisses, and praying together, I invited them back to our hotel for a meal and some fellowship. There I learned that her nickname is actually Nik, her father is a doctor, and her mother is nurse.

"It's meetings like these that remind me how love can bring together some of the most diverse people. I love that love knows no bounds," says Nick.

Nicholas James "Nick" Vujicic (voy-chich) born 4 December 1982) is a Serbian Australian evangelist and motivational speaker born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs. As a child, he struggled mentally and emotionally as well as physically, but eventually came to terms with his disability and, at the age of seventeen, started his own non-profit organization, Life Without Limbs

Vujicic prayed that God would give him arms and legs and initially told God that, if his prayer remained unanswered, he would stop praising him indefinitely. However, a key turning point in his faith came around when his mother showed him a newspaper article about a man dealing with a severe disability. Vujicic realized he was not unique in his struggles and began to embrace his lack of limbs. After this, he realized that his accomplishments could inspire others and became grateful for his life.
