5 Things To Look Forward To At A National Esports Tournament That Kicks Off This Weekend

XPAX by Celcom has launched the biggest inter-campus esports tournament in Malaysia called XPAX Kejohanan E-sukan Kampus (KEK), with up to RM180,000 in prize money up for grabs
Hosted in collaboration with MyGameOn and Kitamen, XPAX KEK was created to help students cultivate an interest in the esports industry while raising up the next generation of professional gamers in Malaysia. Right now, the nationwide tournament has reached the zone finals stage, which is kicking off in Perak this weekend!
XPAX KEK North Zone Finals:
Date: 8 to 10 March 2019
Time: 8am to 10pm
Location: Dewan Canselor, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Perak
There will be five zone finals before the Grand Finals on 26 April to 28 April 2019, so if you can't make it this weekend, here are other dates and venues to keep an eye out for:
The north zone finals for XPAX KEK is happening from 8 March to 10 March 2019. Here's why you won't want to miss it:
1. Watch intense live esports matches all-day long, featuring games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Dota 2, and PES 2019
There's nothing like watching esports matches in person. The atmosphere and cheering crowds bring the viewing experience to a whole new level. If you're around the area, make sure to come out and support the next generation of esports gamers in Malaysia!
2. Catch your favourite artists like Nabila Razali and Naim Daniel performing on stage
If you love Nabila Razali and Naim Daniel, you won't want to miss their performances happening on Saturday (9 March) at 4pm and Sunday (10 March) at 6pm. Head into the Chancellor Hall early to get a good spot!

Whether you're looking for a quick snack or a proper meal, there'll be multiple food trucks outside for you to choose from. There will also be designated viewing zones that even allow food, so you can cheer for your team while enjoying your food!
