GrabFood 5-Star Awards Is Back & You Can Now Vote For Your Favourites To Win! Here's How
It's time to celebrate all of the incredible food in Malaysia, once again.

With Malaysia boasting so many amazing restaurants and foodie spots, GrabFood is returning with its 5-Star Awards for 2024 to celebrate the local makan spots that absolutely won our hearts and tummies over the past year
We Malaysians can consider ourselves pretty spoilt when it comes to the amount of amazing food choices littered throughout the country, and each one of us usually has a favourite go-to spot for particular delicacies and dishes.
But how do we — the ones who makan all the food — pick out the best from the rest? By voting for them to win awards, of course!
Earlier this year, the GrabFood 5-Star Awards 2023 recognised the most adored eateries across the country based on user ratings on the platform
For 2023, the GrabFood 5-Star Awards shone the spotlight on food and drink spots across several categories, including 'Best Malaysian Food', 'Best Western Food', 'Best Asian Food', 'Crowd's Favourite Dessert', 'Crowd's Favourite Beverage', and more!
In the end, a few establishments, such as Village Park Restaurant and Roast & Coffee, emerged as the very best eateries with stellar ratings across countless orders throughout the year!
And now, the awards are returning to reveal just what Malaysians think of their beloved makan spots in 2024
This time, hundreds of restaurants, cafés, hawkers, gerai makan, as well as famous chain outlets in every state across Malaysia will be featured, with star ratings on GrabFood deciding the winners.
The establishments featured this year will be spread out across the following categories:
- Crowd's Favourite Malaysian Food
- Crowd's Favourite Western Food
- Crowd's Favourite Asian Food
- Crowd's Favourite Healthy Food
- Crowd's Favourite Dessert & Snack
- Crowd's Favourite Beverage
Plus, you can definitely expect there to be strong competition, with a total of 148 brands making it as finalists for Malaysians to vote — you can expect only the best of the best, as they're all rated 4.5 stars and above!
But don't worry! If you have a favourite makan place that you think is memang best, you'll can have your say, too.
The GrabFood 5-Star Awards 2024 is inviting users to vote for their most-loved eateries, meaning that you and your friends will have the chance to show some love to the eateries that deserve it!
From 6 January, 2025 onwards, you can vote for your favourite F&B spots at this website and put them in the running to become one of Malaysia's top foodie options.
