Anuar's Fish Head Curry in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur is now selling its dishes on a food truck

The fish head curry stall, which is famous for its RM3 meals, is reported to have been demolished by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) along with several other stalls in the area in the past few weeks.

According to KL Foodie, it is believed that the demolition was a step in redeveloping the area.

A post by Facebook user Trisha Sandhu on The Republic of Bangsar's Facebook page reveals the future development.

In the meantime, Anuar's Fish Head Curry has opened a food truck opposite their original location in Lucky Garden

Photos posted on their Facebook page on 15 June, show that they opened a food truck located just in front of MyBest Laundry.

However, they are only taking pick-up and delivery orders during this time.

According to their Facebook page, they are currently open from 10am to 5pm every day.

To order, you can drop them a message at +6016-6777703 (WhatsApp).

For years, several residents in the area have urged DBKL to relocate the shops due to poor hygiene conditions

Their complaints centred around customers and staff using the drains to urinate because there are no toilet facilities.

Improper disposal of rubbish and congested traffic as a result of people double or triple parking in that area was also brought up to authorities.

In February, The Star reported that DBKL was looking into the issues with representatives from resident associations and stall owners.

Earlier this year, the popular stall was ordered by DBKL to close temporarily:
