This Thai Beef Noodle Soup In Subang Will Warm Your Tummy... And Soul
Tastes like it's been simmering in the pot for years.
Nothing says 'food for the soul' better than this piping hot bowl of beef noodle soup from a shop in Subang Jaya
Beef Bowl MY is known for its halal-certified Thai noodles with hearty slices of beef that are so tender, they fall off the bone (not kidding)
To get the meat soft, they let it simmer in the broth for six hours.
The shop specialises in serving beef noodles with different cuts of meat, including beef tendons and beef balls.
But don't worry, if you're not a beef-eater, they also have a Thai-style chicken noodle soup and dry egg noodles.
Although each meal comes with a green chilli blend on the side (which tastes amazing btw), you can also get them to add chilli flakes for an extra kick.
The price of each bowl ranges from RM9.90 to RM18.90 (pretty affordable considering that they use high-quality beef!).
But it isn't just the meat that's good. The broth is full of flavour and tastes like it's been simmering in the pot for years.
In fact, it was so tasty, we slurped every last drop.
Beef Bowl MY started off as a hawker stall in Restaurant Foh Foh, which saw tremendous success
I mean, if people are willing to brace the Subang jam just for your noodles, you're probably doing something right. :p
Without having any prior food and beverage experience, 32-year-old Sherwin Yeo and his wife Kayren Aw decided to open the stall together in August last year just to gain some experience and to test out their dish.
Speaking to SAYS, Yeo shared that they got into this business by accident. The Kelantanese couple was taught the recipe from Yeo's wife's aunt, and would often get positive feedback whenever they'd make it for family and friends.
The stall has now upgraded to its own brick-and-mortar shop in the SS15 area.
