19-Year-Old Subang University Student Stole A Gun And Shot Himself In A Campus Toilet

His body was found by the university's cleaner.

Yesterday, 26 June, a 19-year-old student at a private university in Subang Jaya, Selangor shot himself to death with a stolen gun

According to China Press, the student stole a Walther gun from a shooting club two hours before he committed suicide in a campus toilet.

The shooting club lodged a police report after noticing a gun was missing.

The student had been a member of the shooting club since 2015.

The student's father revealed that he had been suffering from depression for a year

According to China Press, the student was 10 months into studying Quantity Surveying at the university.

According to the police, the student's body was found by a cleaner who tried to unlock the toilet he was in

China Press reported Subang Jaya district police chief ACP Mohammad Azlin Sadari as saying that the cleaner found a gun next to his bloodied body.

A forensics team and a K-9 unit had also been deployed to the scene for investigation.

Police cars were seen at the university.

Witnesses told SAYS that the area where the incident happened was shut off by the police.

Mohammad Azlin said the case has been classified as a sudden death.
